Fake malware popups can be scary but are almost completely benign, they can also include background sounds including recorded voice messages.

These popups are caused by ads which contain javascript that are maliciously inserted into commercial ad networks which are displayed on major websites including Google, Microsoft Bing, major news websites, and more. In most cases the ad network detects these malicious ads and removes them withing minutes but even then that is still engough time for them to be displayed and activated on thousands of computers who's users did nothing wrong.

If you receive one of these you can force it closed by closing the web browser (Edge, Chrome, or FireFox) using task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) or powering off your computer and then powering it back on (press and hold the power button for atleast 20 seconds). When you re-oepn the browser do not choose to restore previous sites or sessions. After please create a support ticket by emailing us at help@tcitsolutions.com so we can initiate a full system scan of your computer.
